Welcome to Hoss Sports Therapy
I have always had a strong affinity towards sport and exercise from a very young age. At 15 years old I suffered a serious knee injury while playing football, which really affected my active lifestyle. After surgery I received physiotherapy treatment from the NHS and was instantly intrigued by the methods used. This triggered my curiosity and since then I have been passionate about sports injury rehab.
I graduated from University of Kent at Medway in 2008 in Sports Therapy, Health and Fitness. I have been on numerous CPD courses focussing on lower back pain, shoulder injuries, running injuries and lower limb tendon issues.
Career Achievements
I spent seven years at Bromley RFC as their lead Sports Therapist. My final match was at Twickenham Stadium where the 1st XV won the RFU National Senior Vase, the highest accolade of the club’s history. Currently I am working pitch side for England Rugby u18s and Kent Rugby junior section.
Personal Achievements
I have completed two marathons and ‘The Wall’ Ultramarathon in June 2014, running 69 miles in two days from Carlisle to Newcastle. I am a keen runner and regularly attend the gym to maintain my physical fitness.
I am able to assess and treat a wide variety of sports injuries sustained in various sports such as running, rugby, football, MMA, golf, tennis and more. I am also able to help those who are sedentary/less physically active with conditions such as lower back pain, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis and other musculoskeletal conditions. I have a particular interest in prevention of injury, injury rehabilitation and movement.
