There’s a lot more to Running, than just Running!
There’s been a huge rise in running participation over the last few years! Lots of new runners from various walks of life are running for various reasons, from 5km to 100km, road and trail! However, running is more than just picking a pair of old trainers, pounding the streets, some stretching, and then maybe a coffee after. Unfortunately, running can be a high risk activity in terms of sustaining an injury. The good news is, is that there is a lot we can do to reduce the risks.
For example, there is strong evidence proving that Strength & Conditioning can reduce injury risk by up to 50% (1). Many injuries have many factors influencing them such as sleep. Sleep deprivation may have a strong influence in the development of bone stress injuries (2). Therefore, ‘There is a lot more to running, than just running!’.

Tickets are limited to 60 for each session. Tickets are £5 per person, all ticket sales will be donated to The Running Charity for this event.
